Therese - thank you so much for that glowing review of the review. I got a kick out of talking with Ed and writing it, but got an even greater jump from reading your kind words. They mean a lot. I'd be thrilled to review your eventual books of poetry!

By no means am I expert in prose or in reviews, but I venture to say that your extensive review (I was expecting a piece much shorter) is very engaging, well-written, and informative. Most important of all, your warm, favorable review gives me a reliable sampling of Mr. Skoog's poetry, and makes me want to read his book. Your review includes a substantial interview with the poet, a journalistic feature that not only pays tribute to your fair treatment, but also bespeaks a huge amount of leg work on your part. I am intrigued by the section headings -- they function very well to pace the flow of content. If ever I publish a book of poems, and if ever it gets reviewed, I could only hope for a review as considerate and well-crafted as what you have written here.
